Meet our colleague Ann.

• To take responsibility for the distribution partners in selected APAC countries
• To develop and support the brand strategies and implementation activities in the APAC region
• Utilising a variety of resources and solutions, expand and grow the dedicated territories

I recently began work as Senior Area Manager in the APAC region at GDPM (Global Distribution Partner Management).

The most important thing is to start with myself and live according to the Merz Therapeutics vision and values. Good cooperation and coordination with other departments can help us to achieve success, and ultimately better outcomes for our patients. Externally, it is necessary to share information with and support our distribution partners so they can carry it forward and pass on insights in their areas.

The most special moment for me was working with colleagues from different departments in a pitch committee to select one of the most important distribution partners.

Timings were very tight from the selection of the pitch committee to finding the final candidate. In order to find the most suitable partner we had several rounds of meetings with the candidates, which involved a lot of preparation and discussion. The committee used an online tool to vote anonymously but we all chose the same candidate, which we were excited and relieved about!

It was certainly a memorable #MyMerzMoment, but of course there are many more still to tell! It feels great to work with such motivated, professional and results-oriented colleagues. Together we make things possible!

I think the Merz Therapeutics spirit counts for a lot! I started working at Merz Therapeutics during the pandemic in 2020, which meant that we met each other mostly through Webex. There weren’t many opportunities to get to know colleagues in person.  However, regardless of whether we see each other in person or not, everybody supports each other in a dynamic way! Within our department we have a number of different cultures and personalities; this diversity is one of our most important assets. We all have a clear direction and a strong willingness to achieve tasks together.

I love working at Merz Therapeutics because we respect each other and appreciate each other’s expertise. When you are good at your job you will have the opportunity to that; if you want to achieve more in your career, Merz Therapeutics offers that possibility.
