I started at Merz in 2016 in a dual study program for business administration. During the first two and a half years I worked in various departments, including accounting, business development and project management.
After finishing my first degree in business management, I started in the global marketing neurotoxins team preparing congresses, global meetings and campaign materials.
In 2020, after finishing my bachelor’s degree, I took a position in the commercial excellence team focusing on market analysis and digital innovation. After completing a part-time course for pharmaceutical representative, I started as a Local Sales Representative in the Bavaria region in February 2022.
Every day, I convey our message of “better outcomes for more patients” by trying to understand patient needs and looking for ways that my daily work and ongoing projects can address them.
Merz works very closely with both our customers and our patients, continually striving to address their needs and solve real problems.
Summarized in just three words, I would describe the work culture at Merz Therapeutics as collaborative, engaging and motivating.
My best advice for newcomers joining the pharmaceutical industry is to be willing to learn more about the scientific background and most importantly, always try to understand a patient’s needs.
